APTIS ADVANCED EXAM


GRAMMAR and VOCABULARY 
25 questions are in the format of a three-option multiple choice.

LISTENING (30 min)
Part 1: Five short recordings of monologues or dialogues and answer one question for each recording.
Part 2: Three recordings of monologues or dialogues and you riwll have to answer two questions for each recording.
Part 3: A discussion between a man and a woman. Identify who expresses which opinion: The man, the moan, or both (you will only hear this once)
Part 4: Two separate monologues. Select the correct answers from a table (you will only hear this once)


READING (60 min)
Part 1: You have 4 people opinions on one topic. Read opinions and choose who said what.
Part 2: Matching headings.
Part 3: Shor text with missing gaps. Choose the right word or phrase.
Part 4: 2 short texts on the same topic. Fill in the blank with the appropriate phrase.

SPEAKING (10 min)
Part 1: Describe, compare and provide reasons and explanations (45 s each). Compare 2 pictures and answer 2 questions.
Part 2: Discuss personal experience and opinion on an abstract topic (1 min prepare + 2 min talk)
Part 3: Presentation. Speak on a topic fro one and a half minutes. One minute to prepare. After the presentation, an additional question about the topic and speak 45s.

WRITING
Part 1: Three written parts of text, all of which require reponses. Social network interaction. 3 questions and need to respond.
Part 2: Email response. 120-150 words.
Part 3: Article for a website publication. 180-220 words.
